Antonio Conte has revealed that Richarlison will undergo a scan to assess the severity of his hamstring injury.
The striker picked up the problem while away on World Cup duty with Brazil where he really shone by scoring three goals in four matches for his country.
His tournament came to a premature end when he pullthe injury during the quarter-final clash with Croatia, the match that saw the South American nation eliminated from the competition.
Since then, the 25-year-old has returned to north London ahead of Tottenham’s return to domestic action, but according to Conte, it remains to be seen exactly when the forward will return to the first team fold.
Conte told SPURSPLAY on Tuesday: “For Richy, he’s going to have an MRI to know the importance of the injury.
“After tomorrow we will see very well the time he needs to recover.”
Conte also delivered an update on Ben Davies and Rodrigo Bentancur with both players picking up knocks while representing Wales and Uruguay respectively in Qatar.
He said: “Ben is okay and started to work with us last week. He has recovered.
