Tottenham come from behind three times to win seven-goal thriller against Leeds as Rodrigo Bentancur double leaves Antonio Conte a happy man before the World Cup break

Tottenham were involved in yet another late show as Rodrigo Bentancur’s double decided a seven-goal thriller against Leeds.

The Argentina international capped off an incredible 4-3 win in Spurs’ last game before the World Cup, with Leeds a goal ahead with 14 minutes to play.

That was no problem for Antonio Conte’s men, though, who gave their fans yet another late show to remember, keeping pace with the Premier League’s leaders.

Crysencio Summerville had opened the scoring with his fourth goal in four games, but Spurs struck back through Harry Kane to get right back into the game.

However, they were behind a total of three times during the 90 minutes, but still took home the win.

Rodrigo Moreno’s first was cancelled out by Ben Davies, before his second was made meaningless by Bentancur, who then left Leeds with a wasted trip to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as the chaos finally subdued.

Spurs entered the game with back-to-back defeats against Liverpool in the league and Nottingham Forest in the Carabao Cup.

But they showed once again there’s plenty of fight left in them for the second half of the season, coming out on top of an absolutely bonkers match.
