Tottenham 4-1 Southampton LIVE RESULT: Sessegnon, Dier, Kulusesvki and Salisu own goal see Spurs ease to victory

TOTTENHAM have hammered Southampton in their first Premier League match of the season.

James Ward-Prowse silenced the crowd in North London early on to put the Saints ahead.

But a Ryan Sessegnon header saw Antonio Conte’s men draw level before Eric Dier turned the game on its head.

Things got better for Spurs in the second half as a dreadful own goal from Mohammed Salidu made it 3-1 before Dejan Kulusevski added a fourth.
