Topless Cristiano Ronaldo cheers on his Al-Nassr teammates from an exercise bike as he awaits permission to make debut for new club after Manchester United exit

Cristiano Ronaldo cheered on from an exercise bike as new club Al-Nassr got registered victory in the Saudi Pro League.

The Portuguese star was in attendance as his new employers earned a 2-0 win over Al-Ta-ee, thanks to a brace from playmaker Anderson Talisca.

While the 37-year-old wasn’t in action himself, he was still put through his paces as he worked out topless during the clash, applauding his teammate Talisca for one of his goals.

Posted on the club’s Instagram account, Al-Nassr captioned the post saying: “”Ronaldo’s reaction to Taliscas’s 2nd goal.”

He was also pictured in the club’s VIP box as he watched his teammates in action live.

Of course Ronaldo will have been hoping that he could have played himself, however complications over his registration stopped that from happening.

The Saudi Pro League have restrictions over how many foreign players can be registered to play for the club at one time, with that quota already being full after he signed his £173million a year deal with the club.

Ronaldo will need to wait for one of those spots to become vacant before he can be formally registered, however he may not have to wait too long.

According to Saudi outlet OKAZ, Manchester United have agreed a loan deal to sign Cameroon star Vincent Aboubakar from the club as they look to replace Ronaldo.

Should that deal go through, United will have done both Al-Nassr and Ronaldo a favour as it will mean that the star will finally be able to be registered to make his eagerly-anticipated debut.
