Thiago Silva Linked with Transfer to Former Club Fluminense
Reports suggest that Chelsea star Thiago Silva is being considered for a transfer back to his former club, Fluminense.
Silva rose to prominence at Fluminense before earning a move to AC Milan due to his impressive performances.
Initially joining Fluminense on loan from Spartak Moscow, Silva’s move became permanent in 2007.
The 39-year-old centre-back made 143 appearances for Fluminense before being signed by AC Milan for £8.5 million.
According to The Mirror, Fluminense is eager to bring the defender back to his home country, Brazil.
With Silva’s contract at Chelsea set to expire in the summer, his future with the club remains uncertain.

Fluminense’s success in the Copa Libertadores last year could entice Silva to consider a return to his former club.
However, the veteran defender has also hinted at the possibility of retirement and has expressed contentment with his current club, Chelsea.
Silva stated, “The end of my career is getting closer… it’s not easy. You have to think about when you want to retire, where you want to go as your final club, and your family. My kids play at Chelsea.”

“I’m just focused on enjoying my final year of contract at Chelsea. I don’t know what’s going to happen next year, but I’m very happy with my career,” Silva added.
Meanwhile, Chelsea may face the risk of losing another defender, as former manager Thomas Tuchel is reportedly interested in bringing Trevoh Chalobah to Bayern Munich.
