Erik ten Hag Blocks Hannibal Mejbri’s Departure from Manchester United
Manchester United has been plagued by injuries this season, leaving manager Erik ten Hag with a depleted squad to choose from. Despite wanting to give more playing time to 20-year-old Hannibal Mejbri, Ten Hag has decided to keep him at the club for now, according to the Daily Mail.

Mejbri has already played in five Premier League matches, and Ten Hag admires his tenacity and work rate. However, the manager is not willing to let him leave just yet due to ongoing injury issues with Casemiro, Mason Mount, and Sofyan Amrabat. Once these midfield injuries are resolved, Ten Hag may consider loaning out Mejbri.

Despite the return of Christian Eriksen from injury, Ten Hag has faced challenges in recent weeks. Youngster Kobbie Mainoo was brought into the first team in November and has since featured in almost every Premier League game.
