
Dominik Szoboszlai Leads Hungary to Victory in Euro 2024 Qualification
After securing their qualification for Euro 2024, Dominik Szoboszlai showcased his skills by scoring two goals in Hungary’s 3-1 victory over Montenegro.
A Solo Effort to Equalize
In the first half, Montenegro took the lead with a goal from Slobodan Rubezic. However, Szoboszlai quickly turned the game around in the second half with an exquisite solo effort. He dribbled past several defenders before firing the ball into the far corner of the net, equalizing the score in the 66th minute.
Taking the Lead
Not long after his equalizer, Szoboszlai scored another well-worked goal, this time with a one-two pass with Martin Adam. This put Hungary in the lead and secured their unbeaten qualifying campaign with five wins and three draws.
Celebrations and Return to Liverpool
After the match, there were celebrations in the stadium as Szoboszlai and his teammates celebrated their qualification. Szoboszlai even took a shot of Palinka, a traditional Hungarian drink, with the fans. However, he will soon return to Liverpool to prepare for a crucial match against Manchester City.
