Tottenham’s search for a new manager has hit a snag as Arne Slot’s assistant, John De Wolf, has ruled out joining the club. Tottenham is keen on Slot, who recently led his Feyenoord side to the Dutch Eredivisie title. However, De Wolf, who has been an assistant manager at Feyenoord since 2019, said that his loyalty to the club would make it impossible for him to follow Slot to Tottenham. De Wolf made 111 appearances as a player for Feyenoord between 1989 and 1994 before joining Wolves for two seasons between 1994 and 1996. Tottenham has been without a permanent manager since sacking Antonio Conte in March.
