Gabri Veiga, the rising star of Celta Vigo, is being sought after by Manchester United and Liverpool as the summer transfer window approaches. The 20-year-old midfielder has already established himself as a first-team starter at Celta and has a £40m release clause in his contract, which has attracted interest from top European clubs. Barcelona and Real Madrid are also in the running for his signature, but Veiga is open to leaving Spain. Talks have been held with both United and Liverpool, with the latter keen to strengthen their midfield after pulling out of the race to sign Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham. Veiga’s release clause would not be a problem for either club.
