Tottenham Hotspur captain Son Heung-min will be leaving the team to play for South Korea in the Asian Cup after their Premier League clash with Bournemouth on December 31.
Son’s Absence and Impact on Tottenham
Son Heung-min, who has been in excellent form this season, scoring 10 goals in 15 Premier League appearances, will be absent from Tottenham for a period of time at the start of 2024. This could potentially cause him to miss five games.

Son’s national team will play a pre-tournament friendly on January 6, followed by group games against Bahrain, Jordan, and Malaysia. The knockout phase will then run from January 28 to February 10 in Qatar.
