Soccer AM’s Tubes was left emotional after receiving a gift from Manchester City’s Ilkay Gundogan ahead of the show’s final broadcast. The long-running football programme, which has been on screens for three decades, was cancelled by Sky Sports earlier this year. Presenter John “Fenners” Fendley had previously claimed that no official decision had been made, but Sky has since confirmed that Saturday’s show will be the last. Tubes visited City’s training ground to interview Gundogan and was presented with a cake featuring his face before posing for pictures with the German midfielder.
