Simon Jordan SLAMS Cristiano Ronaldo for Manchester United star’s comments in ‘whine-a-thon’ interview with Piers Morgan

Simon Jordan has been left unimpressed with the first part of Cristiano Ronaldo’s interview with Piers Morgan.

The Manchester United forward certainly didn’t hold back when he spoke to the TalkTV host, but talkSPORT’s Jordan is clearly not a fan of what he has heard so far.

Morgan revealed on Sunday night that he had conducted an interview with the Portuguese star, with the full discussion being shown in two parts this week on TalkTV.

Ronaldo has claimed that he feels ‘betrayed’ by United, questioned their appointment of appoint Ralf Rangnick last season, and even spoke on how close he was to joining rivals Manchester City last summer.

Part one of the interview was aired on Wednesday night, but Jordan is not pleased with what the five time Ballon d’Or winner has had to say so far.

Speaking on White and Jordan on Thursday morning, he said: “It simply is a whine-a-thon. It is ‘what I haven’t got’, oh you didn’t like the jacuzzi, the jacuzzi hasn’t changed in 15/16 years, oh so what?

“What are we talking about here, is this what the world’s arguably greatest player has got nothing better to do with his time?”

Jordan continued to question what Ronaldo has said so far, adding: “He didn’t go to Manchester City because of his innate loyalty to Manchester United and Alex Ferguson? Oh what a load of old pony.

“Why wasn’t that pushed back on us, that perhaps Man United paid you more money or there might have been certain observations that Man United gave to you that gave you a feeling that it was better off at Man United, but it certainly wasn’t steeped in any loyalty.

“If you had any loyalty you’d be behaving differently during the course of the last 12 months. You’re the one that has caused some of these problems around yourself, own it.

“No one is interested in how handsome you are. Maybe Wayne Rooney and maybe these guys and Gary Neville, have the courage of their convictions to call it for what it is.

“This is the world’s greatest player, is this what they’ve become?”

It remains to be seen if Ronaldo is set to make anymore big claims in the rest of his interview with Morgan, but his future at United certainly doesn’t look too bright going forward.
