ILIMAN NDIAYE’s Struggles at Marseille Attracting Premier League Clubs for Loan Bid
The 23-year-old Senegal forward, ILIMAN NDIAYE, is catching the attention of Premier League clubs as he struggles to secure regular playing time at Marseille. Since his move from Sheffield United in the summer, Ndiaye has only started eight games in Ligue Un.
Crystal Palace, Everton, and Sheffield United are among the Premier League clubs monitoring Ndiaye’s situation in France. The forward was signed by Marseille for a reported fee of £20 million but has only managed to score one goal for the Ligue Un side. Marseille may be willing to consider a loan deal to minimize their losses.
Ndiaye made a name for himself at Sheffield United and played a crucial role in Paul Heckingbottom’s promotion-winning team last season. He scored a total of 22 goals in 88 games for Sheffield United, including 14 goals in the Championship last season, helping his team secure second place.
Interestingly, Marseille is also reportedly interested in signing Arsenal star Fabio Vieira to strengthen their squad. Marseille and Arsenal have a history of conducting business together, with players like Matteo Guendouzi, William Saliba, and Nuno Tavares moving between the two clubs.
