Manchester United’s Luke Shaw Returns to Training After Injury
Manchester United defender Luke Shaw has made a successful return to training after being sidelined for three months due to a muscle injury.
Shaw’s Return Boosts United’s Defense
Fellow left-back Tyrell Malacia has also been struggling with a knee problem and has yet to make an appearance this season. In Shaw’s absence, Sergio Reguilon, on loan from Spurs, has provided cover, along with Diogo Dalot, Victor Lindelof, and Sofyan Amrabat.
Manager Erik ten Hag has faced several injury challenges this season, with goalkeeper Andre Onana being the latest casualty after picking up a knock while playing for Cameroon during the international break.
Assessment Ahead of Upcoming Matches
As Manchester United prepares for a Premier League match against Everton on Sunday and a Champions League visit to Galatasaray three days later, Onana’s condition is being assessed.
Unfortunately, Lisandro Martinez (foot), Casemiro (thigh), and Christian Eriksen (knee) are all ruled out due to their respective injuries. Additionally, Jonny Evans (thigh), Aaron Wan-Bissaka (illness), and Rasmus Hojlund (thigh) are doubtful for the upcoming fixtures.
