Hibernian’s scheduled Scottish Premiership match against Ross County has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
Unplayable Field After Heavy Rainfall
The match was supposed to kick off at 15:00 GMT on Saturday, but a morning inspection determined that the field in Dingwall was unfit for play due to heavy rainfall.
In a statement, Hibs announced that “a new date for the fixture will be announced in due course”.
Both teams’ next matches have been rescheduled for Wednesday, with Hibs hosting their rivals Hearts and County traveling to face Rangers.
Pitch Inspection Planned for Cove Rangers’ Match
Meanwhile, a pitch inspection is scheduled for 11:00 for Cove Rangers’ League 1 encounter against Edinburgh City.
