Reece James’ personal trainer posted a cryptic message on social media as the Chelsea star suffered another injury.
The Blues right back played his first game since his knee injury in mid-October on Tuesday night as his side ended their six-game winless run in the Premier League with a 2-0 victory over Bournemouth.
But after putting in an impressive performance in the first-half in his return following his lengthy period on the sidelines that made him miss the 2022 World Cup, James was forced off injured.
And his personal trainer, James Ralph – who also trains other Chelsea stars – appeared to share his frustration.
“I need to bite my tongue despite having a LOT to say,” he wrote on a blank photo on his Instagram story the morning after the game.
He also posted a frustrated emoji, a crying emoji and a zipped-mouth emoji, appearing to hint that he wasn’t impressed James had been re-injured.
The post has since been deleted.

Prior to the game against the Cherries, Chelsea boss Graham Potter had stated he didn’t intend for James to play the full game in an effort to ease him back in following his time on the sidelines.
Then after the game and the injury, he confirmed he was planning to bring his star off after the hour mark, which was just seven minutes after James had gone down.
The Blues boss also said James’ injury was ‘concerning’ due to the discomfort coming from the area on the star’s knee, but that it was not yet clear just how serious it will be.
There’s no doubt James was raring to go after missing out on the World Cup this winter despite feeling as though he could’ve come in for the knockout stages.
Now it remains to be seen whether he’ll be available for Chelsea’s game against Nottingham Forest on New Year’s Day.
