According to talkSPORT, Real Madrid is preparing to challenge Tottenham’s determination to keep Harry Kane. The club’s new manager, Carlo Ancelotti, has reportedly made Kane his top target to replace Karim Benzema, who is heading to Saudi Arabia. Although Spurs are determined to resist any offers for their club-record goalscorer from Premier League rivals this summer, this transfer window may be one of the final opportunities for the club to cash in on one of the world’s top strikers. Manchester United and Bayern Munich are also said to be interested in Kane. While the England captain’s preferred option is to stay in England and break Alan Shearer’s Premier League scoring record, heading to Madrid would represent more opportunities for Kane to secure silverware. Despite Kane’s impressive personal accolades, including being Tottenham and England’s record goalscorer, he has yet to win any team trophies, having lost in three finals at Spurs and the Euro 2020 final with England.
