Ancelotti’s Second Stint at Real Madrid
Ancelotti, the 64-year-old Italian, was appointed as the manager of Real Madrid for a second time in 2021 on an initial three-year deal.
Earlier this year, there were rumors linking Ancelotti with the role of Brazil’s manager. However, he expressed his desire to remain at Real Madrid.
Ancelotti’s Success at Real Madrid
Ancelotti has achieved remarkable success during his tenure as Real Madrid boss. He has won 10 titles, including two Champions Leagues. The most recent Champions League victory came in his first season back at the club in 2021-22.
In addition to the Champions League titles, Ancelotti has also lifted one La Liga title, two Copas del Rey, two Club World Cups, two European Super Cups, and the Spanish Super Cup once.
This is not Ancelotti’s first time managing Real Madrid. He previously led the team from 2013 to 2015, winning the Champions League before departing. He returned for a second spell in charge, replacing Zinedine Zidane, after leaving Everton in June 2021.
Ancelotti’s Remarkable Achievements
Ancelotti holds several impressive records. He is the only coach to have won four European Cups and is the first to win all five major European leagues in Italy, England, France, Germany, and Spain.
