Liverpool have had a long and illustrious history in the Premier League, with many players coming and going over the years. But how many of these former Reds are still playing in the top flight? We challenge you to name all 17 players in three minutes!

The List of Former Liverpool Players in the Premier League

The Reds have had a number of players come and go over the years, and some of them have gone on to have successful careers in the Premier League. Here is a list of the 17 former Liverpool players currently playing in the top flight:

Adam Lallana (133 appearances)

Adam Lallana joined Liverpool from Southampton in 2014 and went on to make 133 appearances for the Reds. He left the club in 2020 to join Brighton & Hove Albion, where he has become an integral part of their team.

Raheem Sterling (129 appearances)

Raheem Sterling joined Liverpool from Queens Park Rangers in 2010 and went on to make 129 appearances for the Reds. He left the club in 2015 to join Manchester City, where he has become one of the best players in the Premier League.

Philippe Coutinho (152 appearances)

Philippe Coutinho joined Liverpool from Inter Milan in 2013 and went on to make 152 appearances for the Reds. He left the club in 2018 to join Barcelona, but is now back in the Premier League with Arsenal.

Daniel Sturridge (160 appearances)

Daniel Sturridge joined Liverpool from Chelsea in 2013 and went on to make 160 appearances for the Reds. He left the club in 2019 to join Trabzonspor, but is now back in the Premier League with West Bromwich Albion.

Alberto Moreno (141 appearances)

Alberto Moreno joined Liverpool from Sevilla in 2014 and went on to make 141 appearances for the Reds. He left the club in 2019 to join Villarreal, but is now back in the Premier League with Newcastle United.

Nathaniel Clyne (99 appearances)

Nathaniel Clyne joined Liverpool from Southampton in 2015 and went on to make 99 appearances for the Reds. He left the club in 2019 to join Bournemouth, where he has become an important part of their team.

Christian Benteke (42 appearances)

Christian Benteke joined Liverpool from Aston Villa in 2015 and went on to make 42 appearances for the Reds. He left the club in 2017 to join Crystal Palace, where he has become a key player for them.

Jordon Ibe (95 appearances)

Jordon Ibe joined Liverpool from Wycombe Wanderers in 2012 and went on to make 95 appearances for the Reds. He left the club in 2016 to join Bournemouth, where he has become an important part of their team.

Mamadou Sakho (80 appearances)

Mamadou Sakho joined Liverpool from Paris Saint-Germain in 2013 and went on to make 80 appearances for the Reds. He left the club in 2017 to join Crystal Palace, where he has become a key player for them.

Divock Origi (146 appearances)

Divock Origi joined Liverpool from Lille in 2014 and went on to make 146 appearances for the Reds. He is still at the club, but is currently out on loan at Wolfsburg.

Kolo Toure (37 appearances)

Kolo Toure joined Liverpool from Manchester City in 2013 and went on to make 37 appearances for the Reds. He left the club in 2016 to join Celtic, where he has become an important part of their team.

Lucas Leiva (346 appearances)

Lucas Leiva joined Liverpool from Gremio in 2007 and went on to make 346 appearances for the Reds. He left the club in 2017 to join Lazio, where he has become an important part of their team.

Martin Skrtel (320 appearances)

Martin Skrtel joined Liverpool from Zenit St Petersburg in 2008 and went on to make 320 appearances for the Reds. He left the club in 2016 to join Fenerbahce, where he has become a key player for them.
