The series features 10 of the best goals scored by defenders in the Premier League, as chosen by Lineker, Shearer and Richards.
The trio discussed a range of goals from different eras, with some of the most memorable coming from John Terry, Rio Ferdinand and Ashley Cole. They also discussed some of the more recent goals from Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Benjamin Mendy.
## Micah Richards Makes the List
One of the most memorable goals discussed was scored by Micah Richards in 2009. The goal came in a match against Arsenal, and saw Richards score from a corner kick. The goal was so impressive that it made it onto the list of 10 best Premier League goals scored by defenders.
Richards was delighted to make the list, saying: “It’s an honour to be included in this list alongside some of the greatest defenders to have played in the Premier League. It’s a great feeling to know that my goal is still remembered after all these years.”
