    Liverpool kept their quadruple hopes alive with a 2-1 comeback victory at Aston Villa on Tuesday night.

    Manchester City are in action against Wolves this evening as they look to restore their lead at the top of the table, following Liverpool’s victory over Aston Villa that saw them go level on points with Pep Guardiola’s side.

    It’s been a busy week for City who confirmed a deal to sign Erling Haaland, sending shockwaves across European football.

    The 21-year-old Norway striker has completed medical checks and City have activated his release clause – now understood to be £51million.

    Elsewhere, West Ham have offered Declan Rice a mammoth eight-year contract in an attempt to keep the England international at the club this summer, while Watford have appointed Rob Edwards as their new head coach.
