    Last term was full of thrills and spills with the title race, top four battle and relegation scrap all coming down to the final day of the season.

    The transfer window has also been a busy one too with a number of eye-catching deals done.

    Now, we’re ready for the action to get going ahead of what will be another exciting season – which kicks off early due to the Qatar 2022 World Cup – and talkSPORT will be at the heart of it once again.

    Crystal Palace vs Arsenal

    Our first GameDay of the season kicks off on Friday night as London rivals Crystal Palace and Arsenal clash.

    talkSPORT will have exclusive live coverage of every Friday and Monday night game this term and our team will be at Selhurst Park to get the 2022/23 up and running.

    Arsenal legend Martin Keown will be joined by Adrian Durham, Sam Matterface and former England striker Dean Ashton for all of talkSPORT’s live and exclusive coverage of the clash.

    The Gunners have impressed in pre-season and will be out to break back into the top four this season.

    Palace, meanwhile, will be out to improve upon their 12th from last term.

    Saturday starts at Craven Cottage as newly-promoted Fulham take on title-chasing Liverpool.

    Presented by Reshmin Chowdhury, commentary will come from Clive Tyldesley and former Republic of Ireland midfielder Andy Townsend.

    Fulham were promoted as champions last season and will want to kick on this term and not get sucked back down again.

    As for Liverpool, they defeated Manchester City to win the Community Shield last weekend and are eager to beat their rivals to the top-flight title too.

    Tottenham vs Southampton

    Coverage starts from 2:30pm on talkSPORT 2 (kick-off 3pm on Saturday)

    Our first 3pm offering of the season will see Tottenham host Southampton.

    Antonio Conte’s Spurs claimed fourth spot last term and much is expected from them this season following their busy summer in the transfer window.

    As for the Saints, many are predicting them to struggle following their underwhelming campaign last term.
