Premier League clubs eyeing ex-Arsenal starlet Chuba Akpom.

Date:

Chuba Akpom, a former Arsenal player, has attracted interest from several Premier League teams ahead of the summer transfer window. Despite being tipped for success from a young age, Akpom failed to make an impact at Arsenal, scoring no goals in his 12 appearances for the club. He also struggled during his loan spells at Brighton and Brentford. However, since joining Middlesbrough, Akpom has found his form, scoring 21 goals in 28 league games this season and helping to propel the team up to third in the Championship table. His contract is up in the summer, and as many as six Premier League teams are reportedly interested in acquiring his services, including Everton, Leeds and Crystal Palace. Akpom could be inclined to stay at Middlesbrough if they return to the Premier League for the first time since 2017.
