Man Utd Players Attribute Injury Crisis to Ten Hag’s Training Regime

Manchester United’s injury crisis has been reportedly attributed to Erik ten Hag’s intense training methods, with a selection of players expressing concern. The Dutchman’s demanding regime is believed to be taking a toll on the club’s players, resulting in a high number of injuries and illnesses throughout the season.

To date, Man United has been plagued by a staggering 47 different injuries and illnesses, causing several players to miss games. In the recent Manchester Derby, the team was without nine first-team players, ultimately losing 3-1 to rivals Manchester City. Out of the squad’s outfield players, only Bruno Fernandes, Diogo Dalot, and Alejandro Ganracho have managed to avoid injuries.

According to the Manchester Evening News, a minority of players within the club are expressing concerns about Ten Hag’s training demands. They believe that the intense running drills and physical demands are contributing to the team’s difficult season on the pitch. These concerns have come to light as more players have been forced to withdraw from matches due to injuries.

In the recent defeat against Manchester City, both Marcus Rashford and Jonny Evans had to be substituted due to injury. Ten Hag later acknowledged that he had no choice but to make these changes, stating, “I had to take them both off. They fought to be part of this game but after 60 or 70 minutes, we had to take them off and sub them.” He also expressed hope that the injured players would recover soon and be available for the upcoming game against Everton.

The club’s injury crisis has undoubtedly affected their performance on the pitch, and it is clear that some players are feeling the strain of Ten Hag’s training regime. As Man United looks to turn their season around, addressing these concerns and finding a balance between intensity and player well-being will be crucial. With players expected to return following the international break, the team will be hoping for a healthier and more successful run in the coming weeks.
