Ange Postecoglou Provides Injury Update on Romero and Richarlison after Tottenham’s Win over Everton
Tottenham Hotspur manager, Ange Postecoglou, has given an update on the injuries sustained by Cristian Romero and Richarlison during their team’s victory over Everton. The Argentine international, Romero, was substituted at halftime due to tightness in his hamstring. Richarlison, who scored the opening goal, was taken off after an hour as a pre-planned move. However, Postecoglou reassured that Richarlison’s injury is not serious.
In addition to Romero and Richarlison, Postecoglou has been dealing with injuries to other key players in his squad, including James Maddison and Micky van de Ven. Despite these setbacks, Richarlison’s goal-scoring form has been impressive, with the Brazilian netting three goals in as many games. Postecoglou expressed his delight in seeing Richarlison play with freedom both mentally and physically.
Tottenham, currently in the top four of the Premier League, will face Brighton & Hove Albion in their next match. The team will be hoping for a swift recovery for Romero and Richarlison as they continue their campaign.
