Pochettino’s arrival to convince Chelsea star to sign new contract

Date:

N’Golo Kante is reportedly more likely to commit his future to Chelsea following the imminent appointment of Mauricio Pochettino as the club’s new manager. Kante has been considering his options with his current contract set to expire in the summer, but talks over an extension have been ongoing. Pochettino is said to hold the French midfielder in high regard and attempted to sign him during his time at Paris Saint-Germain. With talks between Pochettino and Chelsea’s hierarchy in their final stages, Kante is now likelier than ever to sign a new contract. However, the club is less confident about reaching an agreement with Mason Mount, who is set to enter the final year of his contract.
