Pochettino chooses Chelsea’s next season No. 1 goalkeeper

Date:

Reports suggest that Mauricio Pochettino has already made up his mind on who will be Chelsea’s number one goalkeeper next season and is planning to keep Kepa Arrizabalaga in the role. Despite being linked with summer moves for Inter Milan’s Andre Onana and Brighton’s Robert Sanchez, Pochettino is reportedly happy with Kepa and intends for him to be his first-choice goalkeeper. However, Chelsea may still look to sign a back-up goalkeeper should Edouard Mendy seek a summer move. The club is currently focusing on other areas in the transfer market, including bringing in a new striker and central midfielder, and trimming their bloated squad at Stamford Bridge.
