Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has announced his intention to leave the club at the end of his contract in 2025. Guardiola has been at the Etihad for the past seven years, leading City to unprecedented success including their first ever Champions League victory last Saturday. The Spaniard had already committed to a further two years at the club earlier this season, but the Guardian report that Guardiola intends on walking away from the club in 2025 when his contract expires.
Having coached in Spain, Germany and now England, Guardiola had been expected to join an Italian side once he leaves the Premier League. However, there is now a strong chance that he will join an international side in 2025, ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
