PATRICK VIEIRA has been lauded by Crystal Palace fans in a hilarious new chant after his spat with an Everton fan.

Vieira kicked the antagonising Toffees supporter to the ground when Everton secured Premier League safety with a win over Palace.

A number of celebrities including Piers Morgan rallied behind Vieira after the incident.

The FA have also decided not to punish Vieira for the provoked attack.

And now Palace fans have released a humorous ode in support of the Frenchman.

Vieira was attempting the address the Selhurst Park faithful in an end-of-season speech.

But he was drowned out by the rapturous crowd who chanted: “Patrick Vieira, he kicks who he wants!”

The Palace squad were seen in stitches as the good-spirited rendition rang around the stadium, in the clip shared by Sport Bible.

Ex-Arsenal star Gael Clichy also found the clip hilarious and commented with a bunch of crying face emojis.

Former Manchester City striker Wilfred Bony caught wind of the chant and added: “Magic,” followed by a crying face emoji.

A third user chipped in and said: “This is football heritage.”

Vieira’s actions were also applauded by fans at his old club Arsenal who chanted their former captain’s name in the North Londoner’s 5-1 rout against Everton.
