Oleksandr Zinchenko warns Mykhailo Mudryk ahead of Chelsea vs Arsenal clash

Ukraine teammates Oleksandr Zinchenko and Mykhailo Mudryk will face each other when Chelsea host Arsenal this weekend in the Premier League. Zinchenko has fired a warning to Mudryk ahead of the match, telling him not to repeat his goal against Malta when Arsenal visit Stamford Bridge.

Mudryk Seals Ukraine’s Win Over Malta

Mudryk and Zinchenko both played in Ukraine’s 3-1 victory over Malta in their Euro 2024 qualifier on Tuesday evening. Mudryk found the net late on with a brilliant solo run and strike from outside the area which sealed Ukraine’s win and edged them closer to qualifying for Euro 2024 next summer.

The 22-year-old will now turn his focus to securing a place in Chelsea’s starting line-up for their Premier League clash at home to Arsenal on Saturday.

Zinchenko Warns Mudryk

And Zinchenko has warned his Ukraine teammate that he will not allow him to repeat his goal against Malta when Arsenal visit Stamford Bridge this weekend.

When asked about Mudryk’s goal after Ukraine’s win against Malta, Zinchenko said: ‘I told him… ‘if you do or attempt to do that on Saturday, I’ll rip your balls off’.

‘But the most important thing for us was to take three points. I am very happy for him and for the national team, Mykhailo’s goal was important because he calmed down the game a little.

‘We have already had the experience of being 2-1 up and losing points in the last minutes, as happened against Kazakhstan. So this goal means a lot to us and gives us confidence.

‘But now we all have to switch to clubs and on Saturday I already have a very important game in London waiting for me, so Mykhailo, I’m telling you once again…’

Chelsea vs Arsenal Preview

Chelsea and Arsenal will face off in the Premier League this Saturday at Stamford Bridge. Both teams will be looking to get a win to boost their chances of qualifying for next season’s Champions League. Chelsea have been in good form of late and will be looking to extend their unbeaten run to seven games. Arsenal, meanwhile, have been inconsistent in recent weeks and will be hoping to get back to winning ways.

It should be an interesting match as both teams have plenty of quality players in their ranks. Mykhailo Mudryk and Oleksandr Zinchenko will be looking to make an impact for their respective sides, but Zinchenko has warned his teammate not to repeat his goal against Malta when Arsenal visit Stamford Bridge.
