Tottenham Hotspur’s Jamie O’Hara has called for the club to “get rid” of its underperforming players after they were spotted swapping shirts with Newcastle United players following their humiliating 6-1 defeat on Sunday. The Spurs players exchanged tops with the Magpies despite being 5-0 down within the first 21 minutes of the game. O’Hara was left outraged when he heard about the shirt-swapping, telling Talksport host Laura Woods: “Get rid of them. They’re swapping shirts? It’s 6-1! The game’s gone.” Fellow host Ally McCoist agreed, saying: “If you get beat 6-1 you just want to get up the tunnel and take your medicine.”
