Martin Odegaard has been with Arsenal since January 2021, when he joined on loan from Real Madrid. He quickly established himself as a key part of the team, and has now signed a permanent deal that will keep him at the club until 2025.

Speaking to Football Focus, Odegaard said he was delighted to have extended his stay at the club. “I’m really happy to be here for the long term,” he said. “It’s a great club with great fans and I’m looking forward to the future.”

Odegaard is now looking ahead to the upcoming Premier League derby against Tottenham, which is set to take place on Sunday 24th September. He said he was excited for the match, and that he was confident his team could get a result.

“We know it’s going to be a tough game,” he said. “But we’re confident in our abilities and we’re ready to give it our all. We know what we’re capable of and we’re going to give it our best shot.”
