Newcastle United’s Kieran Trippier Withdraws from England Squad
Newcastle United defender Kieran Trippier has withdrawn from the England squad ahead of their match against North Macedonia on Monday.
Newcastle confirmed that Trippier “has returned home” after leaving England manager Gareth Southgate’s squad.
England has already secured their qualification as Group C winners for Euro 2024.
They beat Malta on Friday, with Trippier playing the entire game in a 2-0 victory. The team currently has 19 points from seven games.
Newcastle’s next game is against Chelsea on Saturday, November 25th.
