Newcastle vs Man City LIVE: Gundogan fires City ahead inside five minutes – Stream, TV channel, latest updates

Welcome to Newcastle vs Man City

Pep Guardiola takes his side to St James’ Park looking to extend their perfect start to the season against Eddie Howe’s unbeaten Newcastle team this afternoon.

The two teams go into today’s game having had unbeaten starts to the season and are the only two teams in the league who have yet to concede a goal this campaign.

Newcastle will be without midfielder Jonjo Shelvey through injury while Matt Targett, Ryan Fraser and Emil Krafth will be assessed prior to the game.

Sven Botman is expected to continue at centre-back with Fabian Schar with Dan Burn set to stay at left-back if Targett is not fit enough to play.

Man City will continue to be without Aymeric Laporte with either Nathan Ake or John Stones expected to partner Ruben Dias.

Guardiola’s latest signing, full-back Sergi Gomez, has been named in the matchday squad.

Kalvin Phillips and Cole Palmer are both back after minor injuries.

Rodri and Ilkay Gundogan has formed a solid midfield partnership behind Kevin De Bruyne and that looks set to continue today.

In the attacking areas Guardiola will continue to rotate his squad with Phil Foden, Jack Grealish, Riyad Mahrez and Bernardo Silva all battling to flank striker Erling Haaland.
