Newcastle are flying in the Premier League this season, sitting in third place and without a defeat since August.
Eddie Howe has found the perfect blend between summer signings and existing Magpies players to create an unstoppable force.
Now with the January window set to open, even more additions can be made with a Champions League finish in sight.
With their new ownership, the club are expected to flaunt some more cash this winter, despite already spending £200million in 2022.
talkSPORT.com looks at the latest news and rumours surrounding who their money could possibly be spent on.
Newcastle are said to have made Napoli’s £50million-rated Khvicha Kvaratskhelia their top target.
They are set to continue investing after their superb start to the season, with Kvaratskhelia at the top of their list, according to The Times.
However, Napoli director Cristiano Giuntoli has crushed the Magpies’ hopes of landing the Georgian winger.
Speaking on the links, Giuntoli told Sport Express: “No, there’s no chance we will let him go.
“It doesn’t depend on the fee or on the proposal; he will just stay with us”.
World Cup-winning midfielder Enzo Fernandez has been linked with a move to St James’ park.
The Benfica man won the Young Player of the Tournament in Qatar as he continued to show top European clubs he is worthy of a high-profile move.
Although, the asking price for the 21-year-old is expected to be extremely high and Howe is aware of that becoming an issue.
The Newcastle boss commented on Fernandez, saying: “I’m aware of him, and I know him. But I think the transfer fee might be quite lumpy.”
Newcastle have had a long-term interest in James Maddison and could be set to approach Leicester in January.
The Magpies had two bids of £40 million and £45 million rejected in the summer.
However, The Times have reported that they could revive their interest if the Foxes drop their asking price.
Although contrasting reports have revealed that as much as Howe admires Maddison, a move next month is ‘extremely unlikely’.
Newcastle have also been linked with Inter centre-back Skriniar.
The Slovakian is a highly-rated defender who has attracted interest from Arsenal and Liverpool as many teams look to swoop for a cut-price deal.
With Skriniar’s contract up at the end of the season, Inter could accept offers below their asking price.
Although the Italian side’s Sporting Director, Piero Ausolio, has confirmed that the club are in talks with the player over a new contract.
He said via footitalia: “We’re in negotiations, talking, we’ve made him an important offer. We have to allow the appropriate time for the player and his representatives to make their reflections.”
The 18-year-old will join Newcastle when the January transfer window opens after he signed a pre-contract agreement earlier this year.
The highly-rated teenager will leave Central Coast Mariners in Australia after featuring for his country at the World Cup in Qatar.
After his signing was announced, Kuol said: “It’s unreal.
“As a young boy in Australia, the Premier League is the main thing that everyone watches but nobody actually thinks they’ll reach those heights.
“To be one of those people, to be in the position I am, it’s amazing.”
