Newcastle to Bid for James Maddison Despite Man Utd and Tottenham Interest

Date:

James Maddison is a highly sought-after player, with Newcastle, Manchester United, and Tottenham all interested in signing him. The Leicester City star is approaching the final year of his contract, and the Foxes are reportedly willing to cash in on him even if they avoid relegation. Newcastle had a £50m bid rejected last summer, but they are expected to make another offer. Manchester United and Tottenham are also interested in signing Maddison, but their transfer plans are unclear at this stage. Maddison has made 200 appearances for Leicester since joining from Norwich in 2018, scoring 55 goals and winning the FA Cup in 2021. Despite Leicester’s poor season, he is aiming to have his best campaign in terms of goals in the Premier League.
