Ex-Manchester City defender Nedum Onuoha has warned that Pep Guardiola has a ‘plan’ in case Arsenal win their last three Premier League games. The Gunners are currently just one point behind leaders City and face Brighton, Nottingham Forest and Wolves in their final top-flight fixtures. Guardiola’s side have a game in hand and take on Everton, Chelsea, Brighton and Brentford in their last four matches.
Onuoha says that Arsenal’s win at third-placed Newcastle United on Sunday will be ‘irrelevant’ to the league leaders. He believes that Guardiola will have a plan in place regardless of the results of Arsenal’s remaining games. Onuoha added that he had fancied Arsenal to win at Newcastle and that they could finish the season on 90 points.
The former City defender also said that Guardiola won’t be affected by results out of his control and that every game is a final for the team. He concluded by saying that if one game is lost, then dreams can be up in the air.
