Jose Mourinho has denied that Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has contacted him about replacing Christophe Galtier as the team’s manager. While the Portuguese coach did not dismiss the possibility of a move to PSG, he said his immediate focus was on Roma’s Europa League semi-final against Bayer Leverkusen. Mourinho led Roma to victory in last year’s inaugural Europa Conference League and has one year left on his current deal with the club. He praised Leverkusen, led by his former player Xabi Alonso, as one of Europe’s top counter-attacking teams. Mourinho said he had a “fantastic rapport” with Alonso, who is among the candidates for the vacant Tottenham Hotspur job.
