Liverpool Forward Mohamed Salah Expresses Solidarity with Grieving Families Amid Israel-Hamas War
The ongoing Israel-Hamas war has left large parts of Gaza devastated, resulting in the deaths of over 20,400 Palestinians and the displacement of nearly all of the territory’s 2.3 million people.
While the mounting death toll among Israeli troops, with 17 casualties since Friday and 156 since the ground offensive began, could potentially impact public support for the war, the focus remains on the immense suffering endured by innocent families. The conflict was triggered when Hamas-led militants attacked communities in southern Israel on October 7, resulting in 1,200 deaths and the hostage-taking of 240 individuals.
