Mo Salah passes Robbie Fowler in Premier League goals

Date:

Mohamed Salah has set another record with his left-foot finish against Leeds, taking him past former Red Robbie Fowler as the Premier League’s leading left-foot goalscorer. Salah scored his 25th and 26th goal of the season and the 181st and 182nd of his Anfield career, taking him to 106 left-footed goals in the topflight, surpassing Fowler’s 105 that was amassed over 14 different seasons. Salah has 135 Premier League goals in total, two of those for Chelsea, with only eight of those scored via a header. Despite the inconsistency that has plagued Liverpool’s season, Salah has scored nine and assisted four in his last 12 appearances across all competitions. With eight games remaining, there is still a faint flicker of hope for salvaging something from this season, and one thing is for certain: there will be more goals for Salah.
