During Saturday’s 3-2 FA Cup defeat by Leicester City, two men were detained and ejected from Millwall’s The Den for allegedly making gestures mocking the tragic helicopter crash involving Leicester City.

Incident Caught on Social Media

Footage shared on social media captured the moment when fans made helicopter gestures towards the Leicester City supporters, sparking outrage among the football community.

The Metropolitan Police has confirmed that two men will be summoned for an offense under the Public Order Act. Additionally, investigations are ongoing to locate a third individual involved in the incident.

Remembering the Tragic Crash

Leicester City’s late chairman, Khun Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, and four others lost their lives in the helicopter crash outside the King Power Stadium on October 27, 2018. The incident had a profound impact on the football world, and it continues to be remembered as a tragic event.

In a similar incident in November, a Sunderland fan who mocked the Leicester City helicopter crash was banned from attending matches for three years, highlighting the seriousness with which such actions are taken.
