Mikel Arteta has vowed to ‘kill’ any Arsenal player who is unable to cope with the pressure in tonight’s Premier League summit meeting between Arsenal and Manchester City. The long-time leaders have surrendered the initiative in the title race on the back of three successive draws against Liverpool, West Ham and Southampton, and a positive result at the Etihad would go a long way to restoring belief that a first Premier League crown in 19 years is theirs for the taking. Arteta insists he sees no signs of his side being inhibited, saying ‘No’ when asked if his squad was feeling the pressure. He added that there is still belief in the team and that they are going to show it again tonight. Manchester City have hit form at the perfect time in the season and can extend their winning run to eight games with a victory this evening. Despite their flawless recent record, Pep Guardiola admits he still feels nervous ahead of his side’s biggest game of the campaign. He said that being nervous is part of life, and that he likes to live with the adrenaline.
