Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has revealed his plans to convince transfer targets to join the club instead of rival big-six teams. Despite spending most of the season at the top of the Premier League table, Arsenal fell away in the run-in, finishing in eighth place. Arteta has identified West Ham captain Declan Rice as his primary target but faces competition from Manchester United, City and Chelsea. Arsenal have also been linked with Mason Mount and Moises Caicedo, who are both being pursued by other Premier League giants. Arteta believes that explaining Arsenal’s culture and plans for the future will be persuasive in convincing players to join the club. He also stressed the need to “nail everything” in the summer transfer window to seek excellence and compete in a tougher season next year.
