As a result, Mbappe looks set to become the biggest free transfer ever when he leaves Paris next summer. The player has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid and appeared all-but set to join Los Blancos last year. However, after signing a new contract at the Parc des Princes, the speculation quietened down, at least in the short-term.
