Match Summary
The match started off slowly with both sides struggling to create any clear-cut chances in the opening stages of the game. However, things changed in the 33rd minute when Mavropanos committed an awful challenge on Griezmann which saw him kick the head of a jumping Griezmann and resulted in a penalty for France. Mbappe stepped up to take the penalty but his effort was saved by Vlachodimos before he eventually converted the rebound to give France the lead.
