Former Manchester United and Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic has revealed his ambition to become a Premier League manager in the future. The 34-year-old Serbian left England last summer to join Jose Mourinho at Roma, where he has featured in all but one of the Serie A side’s league games so far this season. Despite still playing consistently at a high level, Matic is already looking towards life after football and feels management is the path he wishes to embark on when he eventually hangs up his boots. Speaking to Sky Sports, he said he has already decided to become a manager one day and is currently doing his coaching license. Matic also praised Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag for the job he has done at Old Trafford this season and commented on how he feels Mauricio Pochettino would fare as the new Chelsea boss.
