Manchester City are reportedly in talks with Mateo Kovacic’s representatives over a potential transfer from Chelsea. The 28-year-old midfielder is out of contract in 2024, and with Chelsea under pressure to comply with Financial Fair Play regulations, they may be looking to offload some players. Kovacic has won both the Champions League and Europa League during his time at Stamford Bridge and has made 33 appearances this season. He was named Chelsea Player of the Year in 2019-20 and has earned 93 caps for Croatia. There is also interest from Bayern Munich and Liverpool for Kovacic’s signature.
