There is a feeling from Chelsea’s side that selling the academy product could significantly ease their Financial Fair Play worries, and Mount is now said to be leaning towards moving to Old Trafford. He was comforted by Frank Lampard as he took in the applause of those that remained in the stadium after the draw against the Magpies, with Conor Gallagher and Ben Chilwell both putting their arm around Mount.
