Marcus Rashford has travelled with Manchester United’s squad for their Premier League clash with Newcastle United on Sunday.

Rashford has been in sublime form for United this season with 27 goals in all competitions so far.

But the 25-year-old was forced to withdraw from England’s Euro 2024 qualifiers during the international break after he suffered a knock in the 3-1 win over Fulham in the FA Cup.

Rashford was able to take part in Friday’s training session and is now in line to keep his place in the team for United’s trip to St James’ Park on Sunday.

Erik ten Hag is also likely to bring Raphael Varane back into the starting side after the French World Cup winner did not feature in United’s last two matches.

Elsewhere, Ten Hag claimed on Friday that Anthony Martial has a strong chance of making his comeback after missing United’s last 13 games.

‘He is training. So, for two weeks now,’ Ten Hag said.

‘I think he can be in the squad for Sunday.’

However, Martial was not pictured with the majority of his United teammates who arrived at Manchester Airport on Saturday.
