Cristiano Ronaldo has posted pictures of himself training with the support of his partner Georgina Rodriguez.
The 37-year-old is yet to make his debut for Al-Nassr after joining the Saudi side earlier this month in a jaw-dropping £175million-a-year contract.
And the Portuguese superstar is typically hard at work to ensure he is match-ready when given the chance as he prepares for his Al-Nassr bow after missing two games through suspension.
After posting the pics of himself training to his Instagram story, his partner Rodriguez responded with her own post of the two embracing with Ronaldo in the colours of his new club.
Captioning the story, she wrote: “There are many beautiful things left to live.”
It appears to put to bed rumours that there are problems between the couple while it is illegal for unmarried couples to live together in Saudi Arabia.
While it has been reported that the two have been given a special pardon from the law, they are still looking for a place to live permanently and are currently residing in the Four Seasons of the Kingdom Tower in Riyadh.
The couple are currently paying £250,000-a-month for a suite that spreads across 17 rooms, before reportedly moving into a £10.5million mansion.
Reports in Spain hinted that the couple had hit a rocky patch, but Georgina has appeared to end those rumours with her latest post.
Meanwhile, Al-Nassr boss Rudi Garcia revealed Ronaldo could make his debut in a friendly against Paris Saint-Germain – and potentially Lionel Messi – on January 19 when they take on a super-side made up of Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal players.
“It [his debut] won’t be with the Al Nassr jersey. It will be a mix between Al Hilal and Al Nassr,” Garcia said.
“As the coach of Al Nassr, I cannot be happy with this match. For development, to see PSG, to see the great Parisian players, indeed it is a good thing. But we have a championship game three days later.
“In terms of scheduling, it could have been better thought out. But it’s not a big deal… we are in the lead, we are happy. It is a difficult championship to win, but we intend to do it.”
Al-Nassr face Al-Shabab in the Saudi Pro League next but Ronaldo will miss that through suspension as well, with the next match against Ettifaq on January 22 tipped as his first potential match for his new side.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner was ordered to complete his suspension handed to him after smashing a young fan’s phone out of his hand during his time at Manchester United.
